Ordered about £600's stuff today with next day delivery. They were all in stock so im guessing, despatched tomorrow and delievered Tuesday?

I've ordered several times from OCUK on a sunday, all recieved
on following tuesday - items were in stock when I ordered.

can i use a old alaska one or will i need to upgrade the thermal compound, there is still some on the old heatsink.

No, chip only.....
Get the Arctic Freezer 64 pro, it's on offer as well and probably the best of the budget coolers.

As said above i have a old alaska cooler for a socket 754. I have noticed that most cpu coolers say socket 939 and 754.

I would get some more thermal paste on there as whats left over on the heatsink probably won't be enough.

Will they package them both uptogether?

O yea i ordered eveything including a monitor for my mate minus the ram and hdd.

Also when re-using thermal compound tiny pockets of air gets trapped in between the heatsink and CPU.

tosave on 2 deliveries i would ring up on monday morning and get it changed

Send them an email using the webnote system. Tell em you neglected to order a heatsink and ask em if theyll chuck it in with the rest. Don't see why they wouldnt
