Bought a i5-4670K 5 years ago and I couldn't get it to overclock one bit without instability so gave up, it has been fine on its stock speed though.

Time to build out a new machine now (waiting for Metro Exodus to release first to determine what GPU to go with) as it wont run Insurgency Sandstorm very well (might be my old GTX 680 to blame more than anything!!).

Is it worth considering the OCUK bundles? Just want piece of mind this time round Ill get a system that'll overclock.

Or would I be best sitting and reading the forums for a few days and working a set of components that clock well - 9700K seems to be the one to go for currently.

Thanks :)

Personal choice

I dont really think the bundles are really that good for value u really dont save that much but you get a kit thats been tested to work nice with each other.

z390 asus board rog strix series because the bios is so much for friendly for overclocking.

Some decent 3600 ddr4 with tight timings 8 pack kits i hear these overclock like nuts

I presume your at 1080p so i say 1070 gtx min

Read the forums make a list always makes for more fun get to know ins and outs of overclocking on your choice of components
