OcUK P35 Mobo

Just setup this mobo for a friend and everything is OK except when I plug in a USB 2.0 pendrive, I get a error 'USB device not recognised - device malfunction' Wtf? Everything else on USB is OK, K/B, mouse, etc. Tried the device management fix (power save) to no avail, any ideas?

Is this with Vista or XP? I know we have had some of these problems at work. You need XP SP2 for USB 2.0 to work with it, and you may have to manaully scan for hardware changes in both operating systems.

It's WinXP SP2 I am using, any suggestions?

Uninstall all the USB Root devices in windows and reboot the machine. When it goes through and picks them all up again, I reckon it'll work.

Still not recognised! It detects USB Mass storage (HDD's) but not USB pens!

Downgraded flash to v1.2 now OK. On v1.3 I had no control over USB 1 and 2 to enable or disable in the BIOS!, now I have! ALL flash pens are detected by Windows XP SP2 now! Thanks anyway guys!
