The borders aren't even around the image, which is a pity. Not a particularly captivating subject for individual compositions within the elements. Not too fussed about having (basically) the same image in twice at the side – would have preferred a different shot in one of those.

A building with what looks like lots of interesting detail so I don't see why you have duplicated the detail shots. Yes it's a tighter crop but it's the same image and doesn't reveal any more to the viewer.

It is not the most interesting of buildings to extract details from and the two images on the right are near enough identical, the left border is also narrower than the rest.

Like the quirky positioning. All three images are obviously individual but work well together as well. I'd be quite happy receiving that if I were the couple, so good stuff.

A nice series of images but I’m not sold on the format chosen & would have hoped that each shot would take the narrative further.

These are a nice set of images that work really well together but the final composition is not right and the two large white spaces are taking away from the final narrative.

I like the processing on these, and they're quite fun, but I have to say the background is rather distracting. These would have been far better against a plain wall for me.

Watch those backgrounds as there is a distracting line though the head and a vertical cutting the arm. Isn't the order wrong as well... See, Hear & Speak vs Hear, Speak & See.

My only criticism is that the background is a little to fussy.

Like the differently sized elements to this overall set, but the borders aren't even and the images aren't aligned. Such simple things spoil the overall impact. Aside from that, there's no artistic flare to the images, but they're all very competent.

Well done on the main shot, it's well exposed and appealing. The two detail shots are essentially the same though which lets the Triptych down overall.

The images work well together and have a good advert like narrative, a minor niggle is the borders are not even.

growse
It's OK, but I'm not a huge fan of triptychs where a single image just has some white bars added in for good measure. Personal preference, I suppose, but I'd prefer to see some slightly different takes / angles. Other than that it's an effective image and works well.

I don't see what extra is being revealed as we progress though the image. It can all be said in one still rather than three.

Ignoring the white separating bars it is a nice image but as a triptych I don’t think it is working.

GSXRMovistar
Very nice. I like the differently sized elements – adds interest and works very well. Only thought is that she has very pale skin in the first place, so the lighting makes her face and features rather flat. Could have toned that back a bit, for me.

The image far right is great, top marks on composition and lighting. The previous feel awkward as the chair is very low and the model looks like she is on the phone rather than engaging the viewer.

At first I thought she was using a mobile phone but it turns out it is a pose! The third image is the best and manages to hold the whole triptych together.

JRJ
Not bad – quite grungy in its own way. Like the processing and the overall effect.

I like it a lot. Both the processing and the series work well together, the parts are more than the whole so to speak is why it works so well.

A classic triptych well shot and composed on the sheet.

Red.5ive.Oh
All three images work very nicely together as a set. Good stuff. Only real critique is that the brightness is a bit too high – losing detail in the fingers etc.

Excellent stuff. Great detail, lots of variation and everything is not only on theme for the competition but also themed throughout. Top stuff.

A great set of shots for the theme, a few of the highlights have been blown out but the variation in scenes and composition work very well together.

Wedge
Again, personal interpretation of the theme, but this is just a single photo with some white bars added in. The photo itself doesn't do a huge amount for me; I'm afraid – very bleached sky and no particular focal point.

A nice holiday scene overall but there is no need for this image to be in three parts.

This is just one image with some white bars?
