Congratulations GSXRMovistar!
Please forward the new theme to me by email. (hotmail address in trust)

Quite simple shot but reasonably executed. Watch the highlights on the whites, though. For a shot as simple as this it's also a slight shame about the shadow on the wall.

You have the making of a good image. There needs to be some context to put her in though, something on the wall or shot in a library perhaps.

A nice shot reasonable well captured, to be more on the theme some context would help.

cokecan72
Smells like a bit of a points-scraper to me, I'm afraid. Not something I'm going to want on my wall, I don't think.

The blown highlights are a distraction and take focus of the subject. I also think the composition would work better shooting from behind the monitor towards the face to create a more interesting image.

A real point scraper! A rather average snap with no real involvement with the subject.

Englishpremier
Doesn't particularly grab me as a subject matter, though I can obviously see the relevance to the theme. Spoilt for me by the background, as well.

A text book shot (sorry) that does what it says on the tin. It's a great stock photo so well done.

A spot on subject for the theme, the only criticism is the overly bright background is very distracting.

GSXRMovistar
Fun take on the theme - I like it. Nicely shot and processed, as always.

Geek humour and lots of character. What's not to love. Well done.

A fun shot really well captured, great work.

King Damager
Assuming the pokeball is fashioned out of something (it looks it), you've obviously put quite a bit of effort into this! I like it, but it's spoilt by the towel on the floor.

You went to the effort of carving the pumpkin and then put it through a black and white conversion. You lose all that colour which is a shame. The location could also do with a rethink as the towel is distracting.

A lot of effort has gone into carving that pumpkin it is a real shame about the black and white conversion and the towel.

Nightshadow
Simple idea, but effectively done. Like it.

Not loads to judge here. Focus is spot on with the shallow DOF and there is a link to the theme but it lacks impact and won't hold attention for long.

The theme is nice and clear and the DOF is spot on it just lacks a little in subject.

Red.5ive.Oh
Not entirely clear how this has been done but it's quite an effect! Perhaps just a bit too in-your-face – might have toned-down the greens a touch?

A good idea and right on theme. I would like to have seen more DOF to keep the subject sharp and define the clipboard. Perhaps a noise reduction in post as well. Nicely done.

I think this has great potential for the theme but I really find the human subject and what appears to be a tablet does not work. For me a large body of code projected on a wall would work so much better.

Wedge
Feels like a bit of a points-scraper and the funky filters don't add to it for me... That photo can have taken no longer than 1 minute to take, including setting up a tripod and then getting sat down to pose … sorry!

I can't help but think that the photo is secondary here with editing software taking centre stage. A clever comment on the theme perhaps? ...you might just get away with it.

This is a Photoshop filter and there is not much more to say.
