Fun image - like the concept. Might have given it a touch more space around the subject, but well put together overall.

Interesting take on fighting the fat for this theme. Id like to see the introducing of movement and additional off camera lighting which would help create more impact.

A fun take on the theme choice with good relevance, the lighting could do with some work for that studio look.

Nicely put together, though I'm not sure the transparency adds to it that much? Perhaps it would have been more effective to start transparent and get progressively more opaque as the pack falls?

The narrative is there but the image needs polishing. The plastic bag, although practical doesn't add anything to an image about quitting smoking.

A nice idea but just needs some refinement, I would have removed the plastic bag and left the cigarette packet as solid not transparent for stronger impact.

Nice idea for the theme, but you've clipped the highlights and it feels a bit soft overall.

Get rid of the black border. Aside from that it conveys the get fit by running very well. Composition is spot on with a good use of leading lines drawing the eye into the image.

Great composition and subject for the theme, watch for the clipping though in winter light its terrible for your highlights and the border is a little over powering.

Really like the idea for this. I'm not too fond of the yellowy tinge to it all, though.

A classic resolution, paying of the credit card debt. A pity you're burning a debit card. A small niggle though on what is a good photo for this month’s theme.

Great shot, and theme subject, shame it is a debit card you should have just photoshopped it to say credit.

Red.5ive.Oh
Effective simple composition and nice and obvious link to the theme. Works well.

A great shot with all the image elements working towards the quitting smoking narrative. Well done!

Simple and effective shot for the theme works well.

Seems like a bit of a snapshot to me, really, and I think has the poorest link to the theme of the entries. Not something you'd want on your wall.

I'm struggling to see the theme here other than get out more on the bike? The square crop doesn't add anything to the image and more of the sky is needed to create a better landscape image.

Struggling to get the theme from this one, as a shot I think it is fun and something that wouldn’t be out of place on a cycling forum.

Thanks for the feedback. I was aiming to have the cigarette packet non-transparent but this was my first time trying a stroboscopic photo and I didn't quite have the power of my flash set high enough (I think!).....excuses excuses :p

Kudos to JRJ :)

WOW Thanks didnt expect that.

Ha the shot was origanally done with a Credit card but I was a bit enthusiastic with the blow torch! Appreciate the feedback
