Not where I'd like to be
I’m thinking of buying a gaming laptop and the Pinnacle range looks interesting but there’s a lack of real world info that I can find.

Dos anyone have a 16 inch variant and if so what are they like? Are they overly heavy/large? Any regrets buying one?

Thanks if anyone can help.

I don't have one but it looks like they are built by Clevo. So you can be confident that it will be very well built and have the cooling well sorted.

I find the website notebookcheck is excellent for reviews. You could have a look at some of the more recent Clevo reviews to get a bit more information. One thing I would say is Clevo machines don't usually go for lightness. They are a little bit more towards function over form. Which I think is a good thing really as you don't want something which will overheat in a few years time.

got an 18 inch 5080 that I unpacked this evening, it is currently sitting on an upturned metal tray to give it airspace above the desk and so that the words are level with eye, it might end up to one side and linked to the 4k screen behind it.
Keyboard was not in the box, but have an old one that needs a clean.
No laptop bag, but none was mentioned, got a free game that was not aware of as it expires tomorrow.
Recall there was some utility that allowed you to manage the fans from the desktop, but nothing obvious.

needed a spacer should I drink beer near it and did not want it messed up.

Feel free to ask questions

having cloudflare issues, so it blocks me from logging on as me or changing password, had to create the account via the mobile and use firefox

Laptop has 2x usb A on left and 2x usb C on right, the hdmi port is shaped different from my 4k screen, so need to ask some other questions.
So far good, playing borderlands 4 with no issues, the laptop is on a raised metal shelf to give spilt drinks protection and better airflow.

Playing the game is good, settings high and not too much noise
the app control center 3 tweaks the fans, you will need headphones if performance mode is on
performance, entertainment and quiet

The delivery box is massive and very well protected, but no laptop bag supplied, so will need to get a bag from a camping shop to allow for padding.
came with a mouse, usb c lead out, but swapped back to steelseries mouse. keyboard was not included so have no idea about that, I did let support know, guess I should have asked for a replacement, but the corsair one is ok

@steveliddle Thanks for the write up. I may be missing something here but you've mentioned not getting a keyboard in the box??? Sorry but you've got me somewhat confused over that statement!
Also, how is HDMI port different? I thought there was only one HDMI ?

seems I needed a male to male display port to HDMI cable, that is on order as could not find it here

the missing keyboard was the freebie - gamiac external, the laptop kb is of course fitted
