OCuK postage Fail???

last night i ordered THIS item and the postage was Royal Mail 1st Class: £3.88

tonight i want to order some ram witch is basic the same this just £10 cheaper but for some reason the postage is £8.05

how can the same item be two different postage prices, it as to weigh the same right?

i use royal mail a lot and i know it's all about the weight not the size after you get past large letter sending and none would be sent as a large letter

i ship about 50+ ford motor part to ppl each week from my place of work using royal mail, you take it in dump item on weighing scales they tell you price or you have them picked up, never have i been asked how big the item is
