You know that one comes with a rift right? That's a good chunk of the price. It'll run well enough both for the rift and for a 1080P monitor. You can run any game in decent quality, yes. On ultra, actually, at 1080P, for pretty much any game.

If you don't want an occulus rift, 1000 pounds can get you a better machine.
The main reason you would want a better machine is to play games above 1080P and move up to an i7 CPU.
