When i get home im considering spending some of my savings from a year as an expat on a new PC my old q6600 8800gtx rig is the oldest pc ive ever owned now even tough its barely been used.

If i picked a standard build how would i be covered under the warrenty if i added some of the bits form my old rig? (Hard drives and the sound card plus maybe the old TV card.)

The SSD upgrades? are they a swap for the specs HD or an addition?

Oh one more question is an i7 worth the extra over an i5 for gaming and encoding moives?

you'd have to contact the store or the team to discuss what you'd like to change,

their usually about here at some point so they should leave some replies :)

You can add bits from your old PC however these are not covered by warranty and we cannot assist you in troubleshooting if one of those components causes and issue with the system.

The SSD upgrade option, is an addition so the standard HDD becomes a storage drive for media and what not.

i7 isn't much upgrade for gaming unless you go for X58 (socket 1366) i7 so you can crosssfire or SLI on any X58 board. However i7 shines brightest when encoding, where it stomps anything. Especially if you opt for a Gulftown (6 core) CPU.

Let me know if you need any more help :)
