Ocuk pricing

Think a lot of it is just how much they're paying to get them in, AIB price hikes plus shipping costs.

Capitalism. They're a company. Cards are expensive to get in at the moment, and people are willing to pay for them. If they priced them lower, they'd mostly get scalped anyway. I'd rather a company that'll pay tax on their profits sell them for their current worth, than someone who won't pay any tax.

This has already been discussed numerous times and the explanation remains the same. The cost price of the cards are about / above MSRP to retailers, this cost has to be passed on, along with the usual margins expected on the product.

Agree that a lot is AIB prices but if you buy here you do pay OCUK tax. To be fair, OCUK have sold a few cards here for near MRSP.

Yes, at those prices I am going to wait, I hope the mining thing that has been going is going to collapse or something. We cannot go on like that.

simply put, thats the price of GFX cards these days, AIB are shipping them out at crazy costs. The whole supply chain has lost the economy of scale so every step is needing to charge more just to break even (selling 100 cards at £1 profit each Vs selling 10 cards at £10 each).

As bad as it sounds, at least you'll know what you're getting with a company and there is a definite warranty. You'll be paying scalped prices regardless unless you're lucky enough to get a FE card. Only other places selling cheaper are out of reach for the normies with bots like carnage and madness buying them as soon as stock updates on the site.

I'll close this, as has been said above ScottiB has explained the reasons several times, basically the cost to buy the cards in is higher (in some cases much) than the MSRP (which appears to have been a bad joke by the chip makers and their marketing IMO).
