Do these come with full instructions of usage?

CPU only also..? Probably be just as good as my h50 then i assume ?

Hi

No instructions are included other than what the manufacturer would offer.

The standard 120.1 radiator would be more powerful than a H50 due to the radiator been far more superior and the watercooling block been better. You would probably see 5+ degree's less than a H50 if not more.

The 120.2 and 120.3 kit would perform even better due to the increased cooling capacity of the radiator.

These are performance kits and as such perform like them.

Good to hear.

In simple terms, the larger the radiator the better the temperatures you will receive.

The kits look good and will be a great buy for first time water coolers who don't understand fitting compatability etc.

However, that said there's something that doesn't quite sit right the 120.3 radiator choice.

The radiators in the 120.1 and 120.2 kit are optimised towards lower RPM fans, backed up by the fact the Sharkoon 1000RPM fans would work well with those radiators.

The radiator in the 120.3 is geared towards faster fans, but you supply the same type of fan as in the other two kits. The GTX with fast fans would out perform a PA120.3 with the same fast fans attached.

Just a FYI really, in order to get the best from that GTX radiator, a user would need to use faster fans in my opinion - especially on an I7, NB/Mosfet/SB, GPU loop. They could end up disapointed with the performance if they use the Sharkoons.

If they're new to watercooling, they wouldn't know about the difference in radiators and fans that match scenarios.

Thanks for your feedback. Were using a lite radiator as the fins are not as dense and neither is the radiator so that the lower RPM fans can still do the job. While i 100% agree a thermochill radiator would need the Sharkoon 2000 fans they are a bit more noisy. The kits are designed as entry points for a performance watercooled set up and are designed for a balance between outright performance and quietness.

I woudl advise any customer looking for a more custom loop to give us a call and we can specify something bespoke to their needs.

Sorry Phil,

Think we've got our wires crossed. The Thermochill will be more than fine with the Sharkoon 1000RPM fans, it's the Black Ice GT Stealth 360 that will need stronger fans.

The Black Ice GT Stealth with a 10 degree delta between water and air temperature, will dissipate about 272 watts with 1000RPM fans.

A Thermochill would dissipate 363 watts under the same conditions.

Not arguing here, but I think most new users to watercooling (that will be buying this kit) automatically think it will be very quiet, which isn't always the case.

Maybe replace the GT Stealth with a XSPC RX 120.3 radiator, not sure what the pricing between the two is.
