OcUK Rating System

In various threads I've seen so many different scales for rating movies, books, or songs. These ratings can mean so much to so many different people. Therefore, I propose a standard, one which we might all appreciate or give us a better understanding. A simple 5-star system, sort of like what OcUK uses.

I haven't seen another thread about this, but if there is one already please shut this down.

Not sure what might come of this, but thought I'd give it a try. :) Might even be able to use the existing 5-star thread rating system already in place somehow.

edit: going to "Rate this thread" and right-clicking the picture, it could be less time consuming:

As long as the scale remains. Good / Average / Bad just doesn't really speak the same.

don't most of the threads use a 1-10 scale?? otherwise simply loving a film doesn't imply it was absolutely amazing and a must see by everyone. which a 10/10 would give... just a side thought don't wanna cause arguments already enough of them on here.
