just before i ring up and go nuts tomorrow (which i have a tendency to do :p)

what's there returns policy like for items clearly damaged in transit?
do they ship a new one out and collect the damaged one or do i have to use my own cash to send the thing back...not one of my favorite things in cases like this. when its not so much a "possible fault that needs tested" or whatever.

arrived home to my new components thought the cardboard box looked a bit worse for wear, opened it up, lifted out and opened the mobo box to find the plastic casing inside housing it, smashed down one side with pins bent and capacitor totally removed from one corner of the thing and living under one of the heatsinks :(

Kid brother said the dhl guys van looked like a bit of a mess and was tossing packages out of the way to get to mine...

I had a motherboard that arrived with bent CPU socket pins.. so i sent it back but OcUK were convinced that i had done it myself, so i had to buy a new one from another retailer( motherboard i wanted was out of stock) .

lol not what i wanted to hear tbh, not in best of moods already considering i didn't even take the thing out of the plastic it'd be some going for me to have done all that

so you had to ship it back yourself as well, *** sake.
 
Not sure if this thread is in keeping with the rules but legally you are on solid ground, so don't worry too much. Ensure you notify them first thing tomorrow, be amicable and I'm sure they will sort it out for you :).

aye bit of luck i'll sort it in the morning, not the best thing to arrive home from work to that.

Surprised they don't have a "testimonials" style section on here tbh
 
Contact the shop for shop issues, the shop staff rarely browse the forum.

Also, enjoy your holiday for swearing. I suggest reading the FAQ.
