Erm i have just recieved an email stating my rma has been returned to me
Excuse me i want a refund what are they doing?
Anyone know why they would simply return or replace a faulty item without even asking me what i wanted to do?

The product HD-111-WD on RMA RMA109844 has been returned to you, this will be sent on a new order with order number 1740807.

what does this mean i didnt want the same unit despatched to me i wanted a refund.

well it sounds like they've either sent a new unit or returned the faulty one,cant be the old one as that fails western digitals hd diagnostic just find it cheeky to send me a new one without even asking me if i want one
No idea why they would return a faulty doa hard drive to me.
They should email me what they have done the onus is on them not me as a customer.Seems the customer comes last for ocuk then.Please tell me they have'nt merely plugged it in and said yea it works fine? try running the wd diag tool for a startand or formatting it or use any hd testing app it fails them all and doesn't even format.HUGE SIGH if the faulty one is being returned.

i think unless you tell them you want a refund when u send the item back they will replace/return the old unit.. i dont thtink this is the place to be talking about it tho tbh
