OCUK RTX4060TI review thread

just read the eteknix review,
wow are they sure they reviewed the 4060ti. its a full on nvidia lovefest:cry:
editors choice:cry:

The real shills will just read the script Nvidia send them. And you can tell who they are. Phil did it for Jay, obviously Jay gave him the go ahead to do that, Tom at OC3D has done it too and given it a value for money award, and so on.

Sadly for them this time? it won't just hurt Nvidia. It will blow their "reputation" if they had any, to pieces. As it should.

Irrespective of model or brand - there's a pretty close performance/cost curve that all cards have been fitting on. Without another player in the market - I can't see anything disrupting this any time soon.
There must be some leeway as GN Steve pointed out Nvidia are paying $24 for 8gb of RAM and charging $100 for it, so using some out there logic, they probably are 3x on every other component too

Nvidia are not charging $100 for it. They are buying it, from Samsung or Micron etc and then marking it up 70% and selling it to their slaves (IE the board partners, such as MSI etc) who are then charging $100 more.

Oh, and no, the board partners are not allowed to buy from anyone else but Nvidia. So now you know why EVGA boogered off.

Because they sell a package - gpu core and ram. and as you said, they have no choice

Exactly.

In the past EVGA put double the VRAM on a couple of cards and really got spanked by Nvidia for doing so. And made cards like the 2Win, which again made Nvidia very mad.
