OCUK RTX4060TI review thread

Dont get this. He is upset his review doesnt match everyone elses? Hes entitled to his own opinion but it seems like all these reviewers seem to get together and work out beforehand how they going to make a product look like and then go about their own ways to reach the same goal.
Very fishy practice. Its like they are combining powers to try and guide the audience and market.?
I didn't even watch the "apology" video. Full of JTC ass lickers in the comments.

It gets a fair amount of tech yes lovin'.

He is fairly obsessed with power efficiency, never gona be a popular fella round here then! Interesting he couldn't reproduce others issues with the Last of Us

It's a really bad video both in presentation, script and content.
But was the camera work at least good? :)
he cant even look into the camera, as he knows its total BS hes saying, no wonder they took it down:cry:
Someone well known should really do a YouTube reviewers spoof where they have a bunch of printouts of their results from which they are reading, and towards the end the cover page falls off to reveal "Reviewers Guide © confidential Nvidia."

Done in the style of the late McAfee.

Media influencers are not totally new but some of these YouTube self proclaimed "megastars" seem to really think they're audience is too stupid to recognise obvious shilling.

How much more performance could be gained from diver updates? With the increase in cache size could there be some scope of improvement?
It's seems like they are aiming at similar fps but then jazz it all up with software. Frame latency, dlss, rebar seems more prominent this round. I'm way out of the loop so I'm probably wrong lol.

Nothing? The die is *sooo* cut back and further gimped with terrible memory bandwidth that this is as good as it gets. The Ada architecture has been around since the 4090 debuted so it's not like Nvidia is going to suddenly find another 10-20% out of the architecture that they haven't already exploited.

He's another one denial about VRam

"oh its fine, its not so bad man, here is one game at 1080P using 6GB, so there you go, its fine man, i get these things for free and wont care about it when they send me the next card i don't care about, so buy it and try to live with it for 3 years, i don't need to"

Oh and theres more, "its good value man, no seriously its good value, man, by 2020 standards its $289. so good value"

I swear some of these people just can't help themselves. they just ###### refuse to take off the green tinted glasses, at any mental gymnastics cost.

If anything performance will drop off as more new games require more VRAM/bandwidth.

It's weird eh? If it had better than 3070 Ti performance with 12GB of RAM for $399 I'd have (begrudgingly) said 'yeah - not terrible' - this (and especially the 16GB model) is a bad joke though.

Nvidia either need to unlaunch or remove ti from this card.
I saw some wag say the 'Ti' stands for 'Tiny improvement' :D

Right, this card will age like milk in the sun, not only is it an 8GB card, it has very limited memory bandwidth, the more complex games get as they advance through natural progression the more this card will struggle to run them.

You know what this is? this is the sort of card that Nvidia used to brand as GT cards, as opposed to GTX, its just a budget card, it works well enough on the day, throw it away in 12 months because its doesn't matter anyway they are so cheap, except its not cheap, its bloody expensive, you're paying £400+ for a throwaway card.

I wonder if these totally-unbiased-reviewers understand that if Nvidia succeeds in killing the dGPU market in preference for cloud services that their livelihood effectively ends?

Because he spends 99% of his time playing flipper of older parts as a gaming full build pc that's been sprayed to death with WD40 like products to make them even work. So he will defend low vram because the gpus in his full build that he flips are all older cards with even less than 8GB mostly.

He's a clown really that tech yes guy and no one should be listening to anything he says. He spends all his life trying to scam people out of their hardware in some form or another and then flips them, just watch his videos that are not review related.

He's nothing more than a flipper and using youtube to devalue most items so he can get them cheaper and pretend he knows best how to buy and sell and repair old tech, that he clearly has no idea how to repair in most cases and sits there washing them or spraying them with products that will end up damaging them over time and may work for a while but fail later.. But he's already flipped the parts so doesn't care and probably his systems have a 30 day warranty if that. The guy in my book is a scam artist.

Let’s face it we should have got the 4070 as a £400 4060ti and even that would have been down on the level of performance the 3060ti delivered compared to the 20 series.
