At least AMD are now holding the best 1080p level card,
We could all debate that they were already ahead of the 1060 with the 580 but regardless of where you stand on that surely we can all agree that the 590 is the new king, Now we need to see what the 1060 with 5X memory brings to the table.

eeeeee let me sum this up
It's using more juice than 1080ti
Uses more than vega 56
slower than either of them eeeee LOL

@himbug its AMD they can't just wait for navi matching 1080 performance at 300 pounds. :D

Let's face it this Vega 56 with 3 games for 300 deal that Gibbo sorted is best deal on AMD atm

My GTX 1070 is getting on a bit, i fear it will die of old age before it can be replaced at a reasonable cost, a reasonable cost is not £500 for £500 performance of 2 years ago, nVidia

Perhaps i shouldn't be counting on AMD to put some sensibility back in the market, its not their job to moderate it.... but damn it AMD give me something to buy and i'll buy it!

You would have to be mad to buy one of these when vega 56 is only ~£30-40 more at the moment.

Yep, the price/performance king right now is the 570, but after that it's a real toss up between the Vega 56 and RX580. If you can stump up the extra ~£80, V56 is actually worth it from a "cost per frame" perspective.

The 590 is in an odd price bracket of irrelevance. At current prices, either you go 570/580, or V56.
