Hi, I'm just about to undergo a water change, I was wondering if there was anything I could buy that will allow me to run the system for a day outside of the pc, like a mains - molex adaptor or something?

Just kick start the psu, using a piece of wire/paper clip. Short the 20/24pin ATX molex with the green wire and any black wire.

Hi

I got a switch available from any decent electrical outlet, got a black and green wire and soldered an ATX male pin to each end which I then inserted into the ATX female plug matching the black to black and green to green.

I flick the switch and bingo, or you could do the same to old PSU if you had one laying around these are just ideal for these sorts of situations.
