Regards RAC we have overtaken the GPU Users Group and its possible we could take another 2 teams by the end of the week :cool:

No am just happier than i have been for a while, things ere getting sorted naturally seti is my only minor niggle but am just feeling allround happy...i know its sick innit...probably be ready to eject a tower from first floor window by tommorrow eve.
I know fermi will pay dividends when its all sorted i was just finding the edit this, do that, restart this all a bit confusing and frustrating :D

Re the Fermi's, you must have the patience of a saint, I'm so glad I didnt go that route.
I am beginning to wonder if they will ever work with cuda as they should.
 
:D I've not for one moment regretted staring to do what i'm doing and if worst came to worst then i'd just stick the lot on the bay and start building up my regular cards again.
It's all this talk of quotas that is starting to bug me, even the thought that they might in some way penalise the users that are returning duff....sorry incorrect data...by reducing there quota when the user is trying out new tech that will improve the results once the tech is established. :confused:
 
Everyone was getting the 100 quota thingy, myself included and I dont have any fermi's.
Certain cuda clients were returning a lot of garbage, prob the fermi's so I think they are limiting the amount of work until the problem is resolved.
Hence no gpu work coming down the pipeline, only cpu work.

So to sum up, its your fault Fermi owner :p :D

Nay but it must be said your doing absolutely brill lad rac through the roof etc. I know thee is a bit more competative than myself but i will get there even though i know in the short term i will probably have to stand to attention in the not to distant future as you pass me...unless :D

Well if thats the case then you are the most enthusiastic seti user I have ever come accross.

I dont think anyone will forget your photo of all your GPU's laid out on your rug, you had only been in the team a couple of weeks.
And the investment in hardware on your part is staggering.

You just stayed up till 4 in the morning on the off chance of some work.
No, you definately are very competitive whether you realise it or not :D

Race you to the number one spot, last one's a sissy :p

:D In the beginning it was an interest i would describe myself as enthusiastic now. I really am keen to see fermi working over the next few months and to see what its capanle of. Afraid if the quota system is going to be as tight as it seems theres no way i could go for a race to number 1, if that was an offer and a challenge can i take an iou on it for a few days and see what happens? I shall let thee know by friday at the latest :D
