OcUK spec needed

Okay so i need a speced computer. It has to be absolutely everything, including Vista home premium OEM. There is no need for keyboard or mouse or monitor. The Budget is £450. The PC will be used for gaming, overclocking and internet browsing/school stuff etc. There is no way i can go over budget. I've tried nearly every route, however, i cannot spec a system more powerful than a dell for the same price. (i know issues with Overclocking etc)

I don't think you're going to get much better than that for £450. Especially not including a 19" monitor.

Yeah. Cause my budget would be £585 with monitor. But 19" monitors cost over £100 so.. yeah

I dont have a dell lol. Thats just a dell i speced on the site, and compared it to what i could spec from OcUK
 
You are unlikely to be able to beat it for that price, this PC is the equivalent or better from OcUK but it costs a little more for the (probable) extra overclockability. :)

True but there isn't much I can do about it, knocking £150 odd off the price of the Dell was never realistic. A pre-built will have the margin applied to the overall system so at the low end they can often do it cheaper whereas individual parts will have the profit margin applied to each part which soon adds up. There also isn't much point in saying the budget is a max of £450 then offering up a system at near £600 to be beaten or equalled. Incidentally with the graphics card in either system gaming isn't really a serious option. :)

As a revised specification this is about as close as I can get to the budget without seriously compromising.

That system is decent enough but I think you could build cheaper and/or better. This system is as fast or faster plus includes a monitor, aftermarket cooler and a larger hard drive for £50 more. :)
