After a slight delay due to RL, I'm happy to announce the opening of our second 1v1 tournament!

Format

TBC, based on number of entrants :)


Dates and Times

The competition will take place starting next weekend (4th/5th december). Depending on numbers/availability, it may extend into the week following.


How To Enter

Just post your SC2 username and 3-digit identifier in this thread.


Spectating

Spectators are always welcome, just give us a shout if you want to watch any of the matches :) Replays will of course be posted.

Would be good too to put our league/points score up. I don't know how feasible this is but it'd be good to have a losers bracket too.

I.e. if you get knocked out in the first 2/3 rounds, you drop into a losers bracket and you play off against those who lost in the first rounds too.

This is to give those that only get 1/2 games a chance to play more against what in theory should be similar level opponents. Dunno the specifics of how it could work, but might be an idea?

Yea that sounds like a good idea, splitting the tournament down. If it ends up being a similar situation to last time (4 person groups, 2 people qualify), then that lends itself nicely to a lower and upper bracket. Will see what kind of numbers we get and work from there :)

I'm hoping that worst case scenario will be starting the weekend of the 4th and finishing the following weekend. As for gaming during the week, it'll really be down to availability :)
 
Love to play but missus' mums birthday, i don't think i can get out fo this one... I'll pop my name down as i'll take my laptop with me, but its looking unlikely!

Weekend after should be okay for me, or aaaanytime during the week. Im always busy weekends it seems!

EDIT2: I'll be able to play games on Sunday late night, and Monday onwards. not sure if that helps.

Would love to play in this but I'm due to be away next weekend. However, looks like travel plans could be up in the air if the weather doesn't sort itself out so might be around.

Could play from Sunday evening onwards though if the times change.
