How come there are Intel motherboards in with the AMD AM2 motherboards in this section?

You can still mash amd chips into the 775 socket, that's why

this is because processors are made with what they call "choice pins". the manufactureres leave it to you to snap the un-needed pins off for, depending on what motherboard you choose

It's for extreme modders who have way too much time on their hands and want to make the chip fit in different motherboards.
