Seriously, a 750W PSU £28.99? These PSU's won't be able to handle anywhere NEAR a 750w draw, they are most likely 250/300W PSU's in disguise. If you use generic rubbish like these to run your PC's it will surely damage it. Even if it doesn't end up exploding in the first five minutes of usage, the high ripple and crappy voltage regulation on these generics will surely damage your PC overtime. Can I ask why these are even stocked? Surely they would damage OCUK's reputation if their customers PC's went up in flames because of these sort of PSU's.

You have point there but maybe the ythink a customer is spoosed to know what they are buying. i mean if your paying 5-600 for parts then you should have enough for a decent psu

True, but the PSU states that it can output 750W, which a less knowledgable perosn has no reason not to believe, in reality, these PSU's would probably only peak at 750W for a split second under very cold non real world temperatures. Load something like that upto about 500w continuously at realistic room temperatures and you'll see sparks. They may be okay for a low power build that uses like 300-350W load. (for example, a Phenom II X4/i5 and a 5870) But on a rig that even uses close to 750W, it will crash and burn.

Thank you for your excellent in depth review about our current PSU range I would like to congratulate you about acquiring a sample and completing your extensive testing ritual on our PSUs.

When you have statistics and honest facts please come back because at the moment you have nothing ;)
