Following a recent influx of feedback from customers, I have made some changes to the OcUK Tech Labs Watercooling Kits.
The first thing and probably the most important feature is the change from barbs to compression fittings.
Many customers have opted to swap the standard fittings to compression fittings in their kits so I have changed the standard specification to match this trend.
High Quality Compression fittings arguably improve the hold on tubing as well as the aesthetics of a build. We chose the XSPC compression fittings as they offer excellent value for money and look very high end. They also have a unique installation method which makes it easy for a beginner to install without trouble.
Secondly, and this I feel may divide opinion.
We have moved away from using Gentle Typhoon fans. The reason for this is again that many people change the fans in their kits over to a fan that matches their colour scheme.
Lets face it, grey fans look pretty boring regardless of their performance. Since Corsair released their SP120 fans, I have been keen to test them. Their performance on our kits is so close to that of the Gentle Typhoons, It makes sense to use them as it gives you the option to change the accent rings to suit your system colour scheme.
I have also updated the description to make it clear that all Tech Labs Kits come with XSPC K2 Thermal Material meaning you can get building as soon as your parcel lands.
