I was thinking the other day how cool it would be to be able to send out telegrams to people.. now I know there are websites which post them or sometimes deliver telegrams but most of these dont get to show you what the telegrams look like or how the people dress when they deliver them.

Wouldn't it be cool to start a thing up on here where you find someone who lives in the area you want to deliver, get them to print a telegram on some kind of template (an old fashioned one with typewritten font of course), pay them £5 to deliver it (in their finest suit) and give another £5 if they scan the signature of the recipient?

I REALLY THINK THIS COULD BE A COOL IDEA GUYS STOP WHAT DO YOU THINK STOP

You're describing a courier service that only delivers letters, has very limited delivery areas and which is very expensive. £5 to send a letter? You can do that for 65p and get it delivered to anywhere in the UK.

The whole point of a telegram was to send a text message as quickly as possible. Which was nowhere near as quick as sending a text message today.
