OcUK TF2 Community Server

Oh go on then, put me down for RCon and a reserved slot since it seems i've been on TF2 every non-working hour this week anyway :p
 
You do realise I'll be administering aswell right? :p

I'm planning on configuring the P4 2.8 this evening, ready for its trip down to the datacenter at some point in the near future.

Ok, but if I get 6 deffinates then I'll have to drop you sorry.

It cost's more than £24 :p

It's just fortunate the server is already there idle, so any use we can get out of it is beneficial to its owner.

It's already been said numerous times in this post. £15 a month it costs PiKe, and any money that goes over will be kept in reserve and used to get months free for us all.

Edit: that's just the power consumption costs that PiKe has estimated, not the actual costs for having the server in place.

I said around £15 and that's only to cover our usage, the actual cost of the rack is a lot more, but with the P4 being required this may raise to £20, we'll have to see.

Rest assured the reserved slot price will stay at £1.

I'll be on the community chat room from about 6 if anyone wants clarification on anything.

Well I didn't ask what it cost to power it. I asked what it cost to run it and gaming servers require a little more than a mains supply :p

OK sounds good Pike. Confirm me for a reserved slot please. Say in 3 months time I change my mind, are you cool with that?

Only reason I asked about the cost is because I would imagine the money generated from RCON users and reserved slot users would be more than enough for a months usage. I know nothing is definite yet, just saying :)

Hey i'm up for the £1/month deal, sounds great £12 a year for a guaranteed TF2 slot, as long as the server is fairly full most of the time i'm fine with it.

i know we can't make sure the server is always full but it would suck if nobody used it
 
Another for a slot please :D Will pay £12 in one go for the year if possible. Remembering £1 a month won't happen :p
