Okay, so only being able to access OCUK's websites (main and forum) is no real hardship, but I'm find this problem a bit annoying.
Sometimes when I hop onto Chrome to go browsing nothing will load apart from OCUK. & I mean nothing. Everything will load for ages then time out. This is despite what seems like a healthy internet connection (allowing for low latency gaming). Same applies for IE. My phone also has no trouble with the connection at these times so I'm fairly certain the problem isn't there.
The pages I try and load during this time are: facebook, instagram, reddit, autocar, auto express, car magazine, autotrader, auto news europe, bbc, telegraph, independent, guardian, VOD services, f1 fanpages, gmail, amazon etc. etc.
Not one of those will load when I come across this problem yet OCUK and forum will
. I've noticed imgur doesn't load either so linked images always give me the icon saying the image hasn't loaded. Disconnecting and reconnecting doesn't work. Usually I end up restarting my computer. It if quite intermittent - happens every few weeks but when it starts it tends to crop up quite a few times.
Any suggestions?
