OcUK Titan Tanto home build?

Hi guys,

Havent had a new pc in ages and not up to date with the current state of affairs.

Seen the Titan Tanto on OcUK and thought this looked good for my budget of around £1000.

I'd like to go with the i7 cpu, 16gb ram and gtx 970.

I dont need an SSD or hard drive or dvd-rw but everything else I need like case, psu, mobo etc.

I'd be happy to do a home build, but do OcUK provide to overclock settings, like it would be overclocked when bought as a whole machine please?

Any input and advice would be most appreciated, cheers

Yes please. I have build several pc's in the past just not the last year or two.

So rather than take 7-10 days and cost slightly more? I could just order the bits and build it myself. I just dont know whats best or I should choose the same components in the Titan Tanto and do it at home?

Yeh they are all new sata drives, ones a new samsung ssd (cant remember the model, 120gb) and the others are western digital 1tb and 2tb (for installing my steam library/games etc).

Wow thank you so much for doing this for me.

Can I just ask please - do I need anything extra like fans, thermal paste or anything please?
Will OcUK or someone be able to tell me how to overclock it/best overclock stable settings?

You've been so helpful and I'm seriously very grateful. Do you think this will be a good build for the money? I want it for 99% of the time gaming.

My PC now is a AMD 6300 and ATI 7870. Its struggling with some games at the minute.

I only have 1x 1080p monitor, so dont need multi-setup.

Do you think overclocking from stock is going to make a huge difference to me?

I dont have a clue about overclocking and I'm scared I break it.

Hi Stulid, sorry for the bump, but I just wanted to say thanks very much, I got the bits very quick from OcUK and I'm absolutely amazed with the performance. Everything worked perfect 1st time. Thanks again it's much appreciated.
