Quite a few of us are interested in torches so i thought i'd make a beamshot thread so people can see how bright they are in actual use.

When you live in a small village thats pitch black at night its nice to have a few lights at hand for going out at night with the dog,and yeah i kinda collect the odd one or two.

I'm sure one or two other flashaholics will turn up.

You could mod a maglite and fit it with a SST-90 which could give you something like 1500-2000 lumens.

Its not a weighty torch but will put out a lot of light and should come in under £50 with delivery from the US.

Ordered from here before and took about a week to come,if you did order this then it would be best to run it off a AW18650 rechargeable which is another £13 and the charger is £18.
