Hi guys,

I ordered this little bargain -
https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=NW-055-EX

NW-055-EX_200.jpg

But i cant get it to work. The weird thing is I get signal strength of 90%, but no web pages load! :/

I tried installed the drivers that comes with they just wouldn't run at all, Im on windows 7 btw. I tried compatibility in every version too.

I then managed to download the drivers here -
http://www.addon-tech.com/new/new.php?id=51
They install fine, I manage to get this "REALTEK 11n USB Wireless LAN Utility" running - Which bizarrely like i said shows signal strength of around 90%, but still web pages wont load!

I dont understand it, any help would be hugely appreciated!

Can you ping the router?

How does one go about doing that? :D
Thanks for the reply dude, hopefully it will be a quick fix.

Edit:
I get my ip from ipconfig?
Then get the command prompt up and whack in "ping [ip address here]"

That right? Thanks :)

I have the same dongle, if it has getnet on it then its a realtek chipset, try latest drivers from their site. Its listed as single chip N dongle.
