i got one last tuesday and found out it only had a 2 pin euro power plug and was missing the dvi cable. Kudos to ocuk though i enquired about the missing cables and got them a few days later, would have been nice to know about that before hand though :)

the monitor i got was a aoc one btw and its got a silver front :)

pretty impressed with it so far after switching from a 17 inch monitor been playing ut3 at 1920x1200 along with left 4 dead and even crysis all at the same res and it looks sweet :)

make sure when you order it that you request a dvi cable and a uk power plug.

Ok mate cheers, i would like to know if this panel suffers from a lot ghosting or input lag as i play a lot fps's. what are the blacks like?
 
And what about ghosting mate? I do not want to buy a new monitor which turns out to be not what i was expecting. I am coming from CRT monitor.
 
i havent noticed any ghosting and yep i got a silver one arrived on tuesday.

edit : i moved from a crt 17 incher :)
 
So it is far to say this monitor is brilliant for the price and games look brilliant on them and FPS dont suffer from lag or ghosting.
 
i havent noticed any but my knowledge of monitors is lacking but seems sweet for the price.

just remember to ask for a dvi cable and a uk power lead :)
 
I got given one of these...

I use my PC to play fast fps games (mostly cs1.6, ql) and I have to say this monitor just bugged the hell out of me. For general purpose its great; if you can deal with the sub-standard colours and the 3000;1 contrast. Even for the casual gamer its nice to look at (being HD) but performance wise...its got nothing on the old CRT's :cool:

or one of those 120hz TFT's from Samsung or Viewsonic

NOTE: don't expect your Xbox360 to look any good on this either, my monitor projected a 1920x1080 picture onto a 1920x1200 screen causing a 'stretching' effect - loosing about a quarter of the image.
