So it looks to be single core (I think it does have Hyper-threading)

I use a similar board made by Intel for my FreeNAS box - Just add in 2 x 2TB Hard Drives and a 1GB stick of RAM and you're laughing! (and optionally a PCI gigabit network card so you don't cry when things need to be transferred!)
