Hey,
i bought the OcUK L2442W 24" judging by the large number of good reviews i thought it was a good buy, but at the moment i cannot get it to display, all i get is a quick flicker of my desktop and thats it, a blank screen, the manual doeset help at all!

does anyone have any suggestions for the reason for this problem?
my old 19" TFT works ok so i know the DVI cable works

Wrong input maybe the monitor is selecting? press the far right button on the monitor to manually change in puts.

Maybe the resolution is wrong? Do you get any image in BIOS or whatever? if not try a VGA cable maybe the DVI port is broken?
 
Nope i get nothing on bios either, just a quick flicker of the screen when i turn the monitor on, thats it,
my 7800gt has two dvi ports and i tried both, ive just tried it on the older family pc with the supplied VGA cable and its doing the same :( begining to think its a dud :(
 
oh well, out of the huge number of componants ve bought from ocuk that worked perfect i guess i was eventually going to get a faulty item eventually :p
