question: Do people clock the GPU high to run benches even if it creats artifects? If so is that safe? mine are at everyday clocks thats all

Ner, defeats the point. Although I did when I used to have my 8800GT, I was so determined to get 15,000 points on 3D mark 06. Having said that, it didn't artefact, just it wouldn't last much longer than 15 mins due to the heat. Funny thing was, I scored 15,000 precisely with it:D

I'm also skeptical as to whether your bench was at 760mhz. Thats about 1000 above the normal score for that clock speed. Don't think any amount of tweaking could add that. I think you are mistaken.

Nope I saved it in the notes. However I have no screenshots now to prove it was only at 760.

But why would I make out it was at a lower clock than it was? It's on (or was on) the vantage database on here and there might be a screenshot on that.

However, that's what it scored and yes, I worked hard to get that score. Clean basic install of windows etc, pci-e slot overclocked etc.
