I do apologize if this is in the wrong forum.

The search on the main OCUK website is dreadful, and really puts me off wanting to buy what I need.

I am looking for a wireless headset, so rightly so I search for wireless headset and get 85 results.

In these results are keyboards, wireless adapters, xbox controllers, wired headsets and wireless headsets, so not really helpful.

I understand web searches can be iffy on occasion, but it would not be too bad, if you could filter between wired and wireless headsets in that part of the store.

I really miss the old website

In before lock. Also nice to see the old familiar site :) Also nice to see when "this week only deals" didn't include the same stuff week in week out, like they do now and were actually deals. Nitro concepts chair has been in the this week only section for a LONG time.

Brings back memories :)

I used to look forward to "this week only" to see if I wanted to buy something. Not so much now :(

yeah, I still prefer the older site... I must admit, I have stopped searching for items and just go through them all now to find what I want. Very time consuming but at least I find the items. The search 'feature' generally misses out things.

Does it still do that thing where you sort by price, then click a brand and it resorts by some other method. That always used to wind me up.

Style over substance, the way a lot of things go these days.

Me too.

A perfect example of how to fix summat that ain't broke.

I also used to browse the site a lot, and look forward to TWO.

Not so much now.

But we're only the paying customer, what do we know, eh?

And as the son of the previous owner once infamously said, as forum users, we're just the 1 in 10.

Oh and IBTL.

Basically a year or two ago there was a security flaw revealed on the site or something and as a result they had to replace it with a C&P job of another site owned by the same company, sadly that site was laid out like **** and the search was even worse.

If you know what you want then just go to Google and type: thingthatiwant site:www.overclockers.co.uk and Google will search it for you.

There was no security flaw, the change was completely voluntary, although you're right it is based off caseking's work - a lot of design decisions came from ocuk staff however.

The search is 3rd party (findologic) and was already used on the old site, it's a little odd, I'll admit.

I liked the old main site better, components down the left side (in the correct order) (IMO)
easy to navigate sub-sections (Intel/AMD Nvidia/AMD socket 1155 1150 1366 2011 and so on..)

I look at the site now and its just a mess to me :(
