OCuk White Bitfenix XL project?

Hi,

Unfortunately many of the parts in this system have been discontinued, but we can recommend a similar spec with current parts taking into account the same visual theme, it really depends on your budget and performance expectations since the original system contained two watercooled GTX 690's.

Hey, thanks for the reply. Please can you tell me the parts for a similar visual effect. I'm thinking of going with 1 GTX 690 watercooled with room to expand to SLI next year. Want to switch from AMD 7950flex to Nvidia because of ProjectSheild. Thanks

You know a GTX 690 is a Dual GPU, so you'll need a Motherboard that can support Quad-SLI right?

and also a large wallet to pay for all the extra bits as well, as depending on what bits you own and how new they are, you may or may not be able to re use them in a new system with the latest cards etc

if your system was done in dec, if you list the spec, i'm sure most if not all can be re used etc, just change case and maybe psu, motherboard if it doesn't support card you want etc etc, but without knowing your full spec or budget it's hard to say as well with out guessing all the time

You'd be better with a Titan rather than GTX 690, you get the 2GB extra useable memory and two Titan's in SLI scale better than two GTX 690s

Exactly, you'd be much better off with a Titan, even if it is a little slower than the GTX 690 on its own, when you add another (which seems to be your plan) it will surpass GTX 690 Quad-SLI due to scaling.

Hey. I'm currently running Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge), not overclocked. 8Gb Ram, Sapphire HD 7950 FLEX DUAL-X 3072MB GPU, MSI Z77A-G45 motherboard.

That's probably true about the Titan vs SLI 690s.
