Weird problem. Can someone confirm OcUK went down for a whole day a week or two back? Reason I ask is, the forums refuse to work in Firefox. It is acting to how it did a week or two ago (did wonder why no one had asked if the forum had gone down) Restarted Firefox but still won't load - remembered IE8 (haven't used for years) and it worked fine. Why would the forums suddenly not work in FF?

EDIT - Firefox 3.51 using W7 RC1

Does anyone know why this would be happening? Several sites now won't load in FF but work fine in IE.

erm, it could be addon's causing a problem maybe 'no script' or similar - try running firefox safe mode and see if you are still getting the problem.

Start > All programs > Mozilla Firefox > Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode)

cool i also have the same problem since latest ff update addons removed/switched off didn't help. I can access google but from google nothing works. If I visit sites directly they work but google and all other search engines don't :(

I'll try Crap Cleaner

Tried a new profile, still happening. I use NOD AV. It is random now e.g. OcUK will work but Facebook wont, BBC Sport will work but YouTube won't work. We do seem to be having some internet problems too - Virgin 8MB been very slow at times, however any website will still load in IE even if internet is been slow. About to try safemode.

I've been having a problem in firefox recently where some webpages are redirected back to the page I just nagivated from.

Sign of malware. Run MalwareBytes and Super anti spyware. Do a scan using a AV too.

Did a spybot sweep, found a couple of minor things and deleted them.

Silly question but how do you run it in safemode? Can't find the shortcut and tried making a shortcut...

C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox -safe-mode but didn't work
