As topic says, any one bought one recently and overclocked it ? what result you get ? and are they Toledo cores ? what kinda of voltages/temps on air ? stepping code ?

Got a choice of buying a x2 4400+ or a opteron 165. Just sold a poor performing manchester core 0623 and a very bad performing opteron 165 CCBWE 0601UPMW I want to avoid a third dud in a row. Ideally want to hit 2.8ghz+ on air.

My 3 week old x2 4400+ (Toledo) hit 2.6 on stock volts. Hit 2.75 on 1.5v but dont really want that much going through it 24/7. I know 1.5v isnt that high but i'd prefer to keep it below that

Not sure about the current generation of chips, but I think 2.8GHz for a dual core chip on air might be a bit optimistic. When I bought my 165 it was preceived wisdom that the dual cores would not hit the speeds of the single core chips.
