i said i was so......thought it would be a good idea to have a ocuk xfire community, so we can get together and have some fun :)

would be just great if we can see fellow ocuk members online, and join them straight into a online game, thats the whole point of a xfire community.

ive set up the xfire clan/community so all i will need is your xfire usernames and ill invite you straight into the community on xfire.

if you dont have xfire but want to be involved just download xfire from here, takes 1 min to sign up.

as i know the ocuk gaming community in these forums are pretty big, ive started off with this little xfire community, from here we will see what happend's, once we have had some fun ;)

Not touching xfire with a very long barge pole after it kept ignoring preference settings and downloading GB's of data without my permission.
 
never downloaded using xfire.....not a good choice for downloading is it :D was it for game patches or something ?, sounds like just a normall glitch to be honest, try it again, if it does it again just simply uninstall ;)

p.s dont know when that happend to you but in the last couple of months theres been 3 or 4 patches

That's the point, I specifically turned off all the patch download options and it still did so.

oh, ok so you didnt want xfire to patch itself......ok :confused:

anyhow no idea why it kept ignoring preferences. never had problem myself, not that i dont want it to patch itself anyway lol
 
i use xfire and have done for quite a bit in recent times its annoyed me because now it deceides to crash my games which is a total pain in the bum

other wise its pretty useful for playing games with your friends and chatting in game

thanks you, atleast someone has :p, common people, its not a clan remember, its just so we can join fellow ocuk members in game
 
Xfire was pretty rubbish to start with then went through a stage where it was excellent and I used it everyday. Now though it crashes games randomly, downloads when you tell it not to, and generally has lost a lot of its appeal with me. A shame really.

and to those who are moaning at it, its a pretty awesome program, and if they have any problems they usually fix em on the next months patch, with a lot of new games out all the time its understandable for them to have a few issues.
