OCUK's 980 GPU

Heya guys, I just got a bunch of money am about to sink into two 980s.

Now coolers mean nothing to me and well the OCUK 980s are quite cheap, However you don't hear much reviews about there brands par that one already there.

Can anyone give me a shout at how good they are? I'd think the RMA must be amazing considering you are buying it from the same company

I bought the "OCUK" 980... it's a Manli

Haven't a bad thing to say about it.

I think someone said the OcUK cards are a mix of Manli, Palit, and (I think) PNY.

Afaik all reference 980s are made by nvidia themselves then the manufacturers put their stickers on, add accessories and sell it.

So the card itself won't be any different from any other 980.

I have an OCUK 980, It's a Palit with the Titan cooler. Clocks like a beast and I couldn't be happier.

The only negative would be unlike a brand such as EVGA, it will void your warranty if you remove the reference cooler Nd put on a waterblock. I emailed customer services to check and the response was:

"Thank you for your webnote.
The PCB layout will be the same, and the design of the cooler will be the same.
Removing the cooler from the OcUK GTX 980 will void the warranty"

Because we don't have a factory.
They are still made by a partner and are normally a mix and are partners who do not have special terms for heatsink removal.

That won't happen, a factory will not ship product without cooler as then it is not tested.
