Just installed OCUK's Gaming Bundle with below specifications.

"ReVenge Gigabyte Z97 - Intel Core i7 4770K @ 4.4GHz Configurable Enthusiast Gaming Bundle"

Everything appeared to be going well, installation and windows set up went fine... however if I run anything stressful the system resets... I haven't changed anything in the bios and this has apparently been stress tested by OCUK?

Disappointed, was hoping for a quick upgrade with no issues with no intention of tweaking for the time being because I don't have the time. Oh well, there goes my Saturday..

On a positive note, they did deliver within 3 days......

Agreed, make sure you post in customer service area, they are excellent at getting back to you once a staff member sees it

Success!!! Slight voltage increase and a few other changed settings and 3dmark finally ran so still not sure exactly what the problem was.

But the bad news, OCCT is giving me load temps of 85C which is pretty scary and cpu fans are quite loud, the Nemesis cooler is horrible.

Still not impressed, 4.4GHz is nice but I don't think the cooler in the bundle is good enough

When I inform them it will be to return the bundle, hopefully that won't be the case.

Those temps are perfectly normal for a haswell cpu under a stress program. They're just hot running chips due to how they use paste between the CPU die and heatspreader unlike other chips that use solder.

Maybe for a stock cooler setup, not what I would expect from this massive cooler with two 140mm fans,

I'm going to pick a Corsair H100 on the way home and install tonight, surely it can't be any worse.

Also had to remove two 120mm case fans to fit this monstrosity.

I've owned three haswell cpu,s now and all have been the same, cooled by a massive k2 dual tower cooler. The two 4790k's I've had hit the low 90's under p95 at stock. The 4770k got to the high 70's. The op's temps actually aren't that bad for an oc'd 4770k. Normal tasks will have much lower temps.

Well a just installed a H100, temps are a little lower but not by a great deal but I will be adding another fan on the front of the radiator which should help. Also have to take into account it's quite warm today.

However the unit I have is making a weird noise, not sure but the noise seems to be coming from the pump so will probably need replacing.

I'm having crap luck with this build. :(

Oh well, it's almost BBQ time so will play around again tomorrow.

Don't worry with the stress test temps, they are stupid. I hit 100c in IBT but playing BF4 it hits max of 75c, which is more than fine.

I've put another fan on the radiator and temps are a little better, around 75C which is reasonable.

It's just that damn pump noise from the H100... So annoying.

Getting more and more frustrated with this, memory issues, overheating and dodgy pump, although the last one is nothing to do with OCUK.

Might just return everything and stick with when I've got for a bit longer, it's just too much hassle.
