It's $599.00/£499/699Euroes (Doesn't include shipping)

Do you think this is a fair price? Will Sony/HTC be prices be similar?

For your £500 you get the headset, sensor, Oculus Rift remote, cables, Xbox One controller, and games Eve: Valkyrie and Lucky's Tale.

PS: Apologies if it's the wrong part of the forum, not a monitor so didn't put it there :p

it may include VAT, but that isnt the same as import duty....if they don't have a bonded warehouse here in the UK to dispatch from then your googles will arrive direct to your door via the shipper and *could* be stopped by customs on the way...

You do realize that twitter account is a Parody account, not Kazs official one.

Amazing tweets from it tho on a regular basis :D

Yeh I just realised that it didn't have the "official" symbol but found it too amusing to notice :p

Though I just searched and google, and it's the top result haha. Parody ranks higher than official accounts!

Would really love one but its too much for me for now. People are comparing it to the iPhone in terms of wide scale adoption of a premium product but iPhone buyers didn't exclusively have to come from the dwindling pool of people who already own a £1000 gaming system.

Ran the spec check and supposedly my 8350 isn't good enough for Rift.

Appreciate the gfx card...but seriously would have thought the processor would be more than up to it?!
