Oculus Rift $599.00 (£410) fair price?

Way overpriced unfortunately. I would have ordered if they were more like ~£300 delivered.

My feelings about this were pretty much summed up by Jeff Gordon -

World-changing innovations priced at launch:

Macintosh, 1984: $2,495
Smartphone, 1994: $1,099
Plasma TV, 1997: $15,000

Seriously, its less than you would pay for a top range monitor or a graphics card, and it is going to be about as crucial a buy for gamers in the future as either. I understand some people cant afford it, but it is early adopter tech at an incredibly low price for that. Cheaper stuff is only just around the corner too.
