Oculus Rift Purple Pack...Free!!!

Same, got an error but they show in my library now, fully expect them to be removed but always a chance I suppose...

Showing as purchased, 7 games added to library.

Just noticed this on reddit (LOL)

I seen this thread while browsing the reddit on the loo. I ******* dashed out of my bathroom after the worlds quickest wipe and jumped onto the store and grabbed it. Now, to go back and finish by business.

Yeah, I got an email this morning from oculus saying they were removing the games due to an error. Shame but not unexpected.

I've had the same e-mail, as you say expected but seems a little off to me...I clicked on a link, installed some games and then the company removes them from my account, i'm not over fused as I've lost nothing but can they do that given I'd installed all the games?

The website is "woolly" on this, I'm curious how people who installed the games stand as we had received the goods?

Anyone know consumer law?

I don't think it's worth going any further with this. We almost got a mistaken freebie and it wasn't to be. Let it go :)
Sure, they've got the resources to have swallowed their mistake and let us keep them, but it is what it is.

Yeah, I agree...was just curious and have a little time to kill :) It did give me some Xmas Cheer seeing the free games in my library, if only for a night :)

I'd actually been in contact with Oculus for about a week over a game I couldn't install, pure coincidence but as I resolved the issue and received a email closing the ticket and thanking me for the information I checked the website a saw the free items...I actually thought it was a freebie from them due to the trouble I'd had...that's why I originally posted to check if anyone else had the offer!

Oh well, I got to try Rick and Morty and Serious Sam at least last night. R&M was a bit of a disappointment tbh (love the show, but the game is dull), but Serious Sam was fun. Oddly, it's tempted me to pick up the Croteam pack on Steam rather than spend my ££ on the Oculus store.
