Oculus Rift sale extended by "a few weeks".

Maybe they should have held fire, and let it simmer for a few months. My reasoning, the initial impulse is more than likely dropping off, two or three months of remorse from those wishing they had with so many on the fence, and more of their mates telling them how cool it is. You build that desire, and then hit them with the discount, they'll likely buy without thinking twice.

With the holiday buying frenzy, it'd be a good thing to have the oculus with the same kind of scarcity that a lower price would further insure. It's always that one you can't get, that you want the most around that time of year:)

Last off, oculus/vive or anyone else would be nuts not have some kind of promotion in or around the release of fallout 4, it'll shift units, with such an entrenched fan base.
