Oculus with home work PC?

Due to the recent Oculus price drop I am considering grabbing one. I normally game on the Xbox one but really want to play some VR games.
My home work PC is a Zoostorm with an Intel i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60Ghz and 16gb ram. I ran the test on the Oculus site and it came back everything is good except the GFX card.

Do you think the standard PC components are good enough without struggling for VR gaming and also what GFX card would you recommend if the PC is OK?

Looking on the site it says it comes with:
Oculus Rift + Touch
Includes: headset, 2x sensors, Touch controllers, necessary cables, and seven free titles available when you set up Rift+Touch, including Lucky's Tale, Medium, Toybox, Quill, Dead and Buried, Dragon Front, and Robo Recall.

Does it come with headphones because they are listed on the related products or do people just use any headphones already owned?

I am so close to clicking buy, just a shame I need to cough up £400 for GFX card but might blag that as a work PC upgrade due to my CAD and CNC software requiring it

As, others have said, you don't really need a 1070. It just improves the experience a little the better GPU you have. 1070's are expensive at the moment, I would buy a 1080 instead or a 1060.

EDIT: looking at prices, yes, get a 1080. £409 for cheapest 1070, £469 for cheapest 1080. IMO it's a no brainer.

I have an idea with my setup that i am unsure if it will work, could someone please confirm either way?

My PC has two monitors so I can use 2 x display ports with converters to my current monitors (I think this is possible) for normal PC use.
My desk is not an ideal area for VR but is possible, so I wondered as my cinema room AV equipment is on the opposite side of the wall my PC is sat at, if i was to run a HDMI lead from the GFX card into my AMP input which has two outputs that can run at the same time, could I use the Oculus through the amp while someone watched the game on my projector?
I understand I would have to run 2 X USB 3.0 cables through at the same time and maybe a wireless keyboard mouse setup.
