Hi guys,

Just tried connecting my 24pin PSU to my motherboard, and it just won't go in.

Looking at the 24pin slot and the 24pin, some pins have square pin housings and others have a rounded top. From the looks of things, the bloody 24 molex has been put on the wrong way.

Can anyone comfirm this from the picture?

Top row, looking at picture, wires go:

Brown/Orange, Blue, black, Green, Black, Black, Black, None, Red, Red.

My colors are exactly the same, apart from the 8th one, ive got a white wire there, instead of none. Wouldnt know why it wont fit though

you cant put the connector on wrong way round surelty ?? if the clip tab is part of the connector then it is impossible for it to be on wrong way and there for not fit. it could be on wront way and therfore not work but would still fit.

that is the 20 pin part and its exatlcy same shapes as on my spare psu 20 pin connector. i assume there is an extra bit you attach to make it 24 ? make sure it goes on correct end.

should that on pin have an empty hole though ??

Well I sorted it, party my fault and OCZ's (well who ever makes the PSU that they brand) as they put the 4pin snap off (which makes the 24pin) on the wrong side, so had to force it over to the other side and plug in.
