I've just managed to get hold of a pair of these for £130! :D Just wondering if anyone has a set and how well they clock...

I only needed a set capable of DDR900 ish and wanted to keep CAS4... However if I up the memory bandwidth in the BIOS, it will put it over DDR1100 speeds. Will these sticks be able to keep CAS4 at that speed or will I have to drop them to CAS5? Is it worth keeping the bandwidth lower and having tighter timings, or raising the bandwidth and dropping the timings slightly?

Cheers,
Andy

I had 4gigs of that stuff (cost me over £600 at the time) but had to return it as it didn't work with my DFI Infinity 975 board... from what I've heard it clocks well on clk 5 but doesn't go much above stock on CL4.

I'm running a C2D 6400.. Have put the memory in, allows me to increase my overclock from 3.4 to 3.75GHz! :D

Am going to test it at 3.6GHz first to see if its stable.

At the moment, I am running at CAS4 with DDR950, just wondering if its worth uping the bandwidth and running at DDR1100ish with CAS5?

go for as much bandwidth as poss with C2D as you will benefit much more than with tight timings.

what voltages are you pumping into that CPU? I can get 3.5Ghz @ 1.43V, havent tried much higher....... might need to lap my HSF a little to get etter contact and drop temps a little.

To get 3.75GHz, I used about 1.51ish volts.. No idea if it was stable, didn't Orthos it! I did an Orthos session last night at 3.6GHz and that was using 1.48ish I think, passed OK. :)
