OCZ 2x2GB gold XTC c1 post errors!!

Hi, i had these for a while but i was usign vista 32 so i didnt even botehr getting them out of the box. I am currently usign the OCZ 2x1GB platinum REV 2 kit on an nforce 680i sli mobo

Anyway i have just got vista 64 and now tried to put the 4gb kit in as well as my 2gb kit and get a C1 post error!!

so naturally i tried each individual stick to see what the problem was. And i am getting C1 errors with both the 2gb sticks on their own and together.

I remembered that the recommended voltage is probably different and then got confused :S
i set the voltage to 2.1v and still no luck with the 2GB sticks and now whats more is i get C1 errors with my 1GB sticks!!

needless to say i put a ****** old stick in and booted to bios and changed the voltage back to 1.9v and went back to the drawing board....

so what the heck am i doing wrong? :S it cant be two bad sticks can it? bear in mind this is my second pair of 1GB sticks as i had to RMA my first pair (ocz are beginning to get on my t*ts)

so do i need to put the voltage to 2.2v to run the 2GB sticks?? If so then that means that 2.2v are going through my 1GB sticks which are meant to run at 1.8-1.9v what the hell !!!

help please !!!!
 
Have you tried the EVGA forums? There may be some sort of confliction between the EVGA and that particular memory.
 
If its the 6400 XTC kit then they are rated for 2.1-2.2volts - also do you have the correct timings - again if its the 6400 kit they are rated for CL5 - the plat rev2 are rated for CL4.

EDIT: If its the 5400 kit then again they are rated for CL5 but only 1.8volts.

so basically what your saying is i cant use the plat rev 2 at the same time as the 2x2 gb gold kit? :'( i thought u could lol :mad:
